I am really into ambigrams lately. An ambigram is a design that looks the same forwards or backwards, right side up or upside down. Above I have used the number 3 to spell the word "BE". In the deeper space is another ambigram that spells the word "NOW". This is the design for a linocut print I am working on.

I am an artist. In art school I would encounter people everyday who would tell me they would like to become an artist. I thought it was strange others would choose to dream about what they could be now. No degree is required to be an artist. From prophets to Philosiphers to fortune 500 Companies...The best of the best have established "ways of being" that they actually live by. They have chosen to be a certain way rater than spending thier existence trying to become. To be is to live in the now.

The Challenge I have for myself is to create a list of ways of being that I am committed to.
